Accepting Asset Registration Requests

The AM Request Accept form will allow you to accept the Asset Registration Request, creating the Asset in the Asset Management module.  This form can be accessed by clicking on the  button on the AM Registration Request form as detailed in the Amending/Accepting/Rejecting Asset Registration Requests section.

The AM Request Accepted form will open:

Details can be added to the Comments field, if required, to provide further details on the acceptance of the Asset Registration Request.

Click on the  button and a message will be displayed asking for confirmation that the Request is to be accepted.  Once confirmed this form will close and you will be directed to the AM Registration Request (Readonly) form:

The new Asset will be created with a status of  but is not yet available for use as it is not yet been registered.  The code of the new Asset will be displayed in the Asset Code column in the Grid.

Clicking on the link in the Asset Code column:

Will open the Asset on the AM Asset Maintenance form where further details can be added to the Asset as detailed in the Amending Assets section.
