Adding Detail Code Structure Levels

Levels can be added to the Detail Code Analysis hierarchy structure via the GL Detail Code Analysis form that can be accessed by selecting the General Ledger option on the Financials menu:

Then the GL Maintenance menu option:

Then select the GL Detail menu option:

Then select the GL Detail Code Analysis menu option:

The GL Detail Code Analysis form will be displayed:

This displays the top Levels of the Detail Code Analysis hierarchy structure.

The Levels are broken down as follows:

• Level Number: This is the number of the Level, e.g. ,  etc.
• Analysis Code: This is the Analysis Code for the Level, e.g. 10000, 200000 etc.  There can be multiples of the same Level, e.g. multiple Level 2,'s. and the Analysis Code can help to identify each of these Levels.
• Description: This is the description of the Level, e.g. Asset Liability inc Exp.

A Level can be added to the top of the structure, which is further detailed in the Adding a Top Level section, or a sub-level can be added to an existing Level, as detailed in the Adding a Sub Level section.
