Adding a Sub Level

To add a sub Level to an existing Level on the Detail Code Dimension structure, click on the link on the relevant existing Level on the GL Details Code Dimensions form.  Please note: this Level must not already have a sub Level added, e.g. Level 23: Income Expenditure Detail:

This will open the GL Detail Code Dimension window:

Click on the  button and a GL Detail Code Dimension Insertion form will open:

Add details to the following fields on the form (mandatory items are notated with a red asterisk *):

• Level: Add the Level number to this field.  Please note: this should be consistent with the Levels already created.  In the above structure example, this level is being added to Level 23 with a top Level of 20.  In this case it would be recommended that the new sub Level is added with a number of 24.
• Description: Add a description of the Level to this field.

Click on the  button, then the  button.

You will be returned to the GL Cost Centre Dimension window.

Click on the  button on this window and you will be returned to the GL Cost Centre Dimension form and the new sub Level will be added to the structure:

This new sub Level can now be added to the Detail Code Analysis hierarchy structure.  Adding Levels is further detailed in the Adding Detail Code Structure Levels section.
