Adding a Sub Level

To add a Level as a sub Level to an existing Level on the Detail Code Analysis structure, click on the  buttons to open the structure to the area where the new sub-level is to be added, for example:

Click on the Level that the new sub-level is to be added under, e.g. Level 23: 230104 - Other Costs:

A GL Detail Code Analysis window will open:

Click on the  button and a GL Detail Code Analysis Insertion form will open:

Add details to the following fields on the form (mandatory items are notated with a red asterisk *):

• Description: Add a description for the Level.
• Code: Add an Analysis code for the Level.  Ensure the code used is consistent with the codes used for the Level it is being added, in this case Level 23, and to any other sub Levels within the Level.

Click on the  button, then the  button.

You will be returned to the GL Detail Code Analysis window.

Click on the  button on this window and you will be returned to the GL Details Code Analysis form and the new sub-level will be added:

The relevant Details Codes can now be added to this sub-level.  Adding Detail Codes is further detailed in the Adding Detail Codes section.
