To view an existing Payment Reversal, open the DB Payment Reversal form as detailed in the Reversing Payments section:

Add a Payment Reversal reference to the
field and click on the
button.
Alternatively to search for the required reference click on the Find Adjustment button located to the right of this field:
. This will open the DB Find Payment/Adjustment form and allow you to search for the required Adjustment. This screen is further detailed in Find Payment/Adjustment section.
The details of the Payment Reversal will then be displayed in the DB Payment Reversal form:

The fields on the form that can be amended will be dependant on the Status of the Payment Reversal. If it is
you will be able to change most of the non-grey fields, e,g Department, Section, Amount, Comment.
Where it is
more fields will be greyed out and you will only be able to change a couple of the non-grey fields, e,g Bank Account, Reason Code, Comment
Where it is
the majority of fields will be greyed out and you will only be able to change the Bank Account field.
The following buttons will be displayed or enabled dependant on the status of the Payment Reversal:
: Click on this button to save any changes made.
: This button will only be displayed where the status is
. When displayed click on this button to delete the Payment Reversal.
: Click on this button to clear the form - you will returned to a the form as detailed in the Reversing Payment section.
: This button will not be enabled where the status is
. When enabled clicking on this button will allow you to allocate the Payment Reversal to the relevant transaction. The DB New Reversal Allocation form will be displayed. This is further detailed in the Allocating Payment Reversals section.
: This button will only be enabled if the status is
. When enabled clicking on this button will change the status. If only part of the Payment Reversal has been allocated, e.g, the amount is £20.00 but only £10.00 has been allocated to the selected transactions, it will be changed to
. If the amount is fully allocated it will be changed to
.
: This button will not be enabled if the Status field is at
. If it is enabled clicking on this button will open the DB Adjust Payment Reversal window, allowing you to make certain adjustments, This is further detailed in the Adjust Payment Reversal section.
: Clicking on this button will open the DB Pay/Adj/Reversal Foreign Currency screen
: Clicking on the button will open the Audit Info screen, which is further details in the Audit Info section.
: Clicking on this button will allow you to add a note to the payment. Where this button is displayed as
there are existing notes that can be viewed. Notes are further detailed in the Notes section.
