Amending Dashboards

Dashboards can be amended via the Business Intelligence Configuration form, which can be accessed by selecting the Business Intelligence option on the Financials Web Main Menu:

Then the DSH Business Intelligence Config menu option:

The Business Intelligence Configuration form will open displaying the Select Business Intelligence and Panel tab:

The Business Intelligence field will display the default Dashboard, which is the Dashboard that will normally be displayed by default on the Business Intelligence Home Page. This Page is further detailed in the Viewing Dashboards section.

Ensure the Dashboard that you wish to change is selected in the Business Intelligence field.

Three buttons are displayed to the right of this field:

: Click on this button to create a Dashboard, which is further detailed in the Creating Dashboards section.
: Click on this button to amend the Dashboard. This will open the Setup Business Intelligence tab:

The tab displays the following:

Business Intelligence Name: This field will contain the name of the Dashboard and can be changed, if required.
Default Business Intelligence?: Where this option is already selected, this Dashboard will be the default Dashboard, i.e. it will normally be displayed by default on the Business Intelligence Home Page. There can only be one default Dashboard. You will not be able to deselect it, as it can only be deselected by selecting this option on a different Dashboard, which will then become the default Dashboard.

Where this option is not already selected, it can be selected if required. Selecting this option will make this Dashboard the default Dashboard - this option will also be deselected on the previous default Dashboard.

The following buttons are available:

: Clicking on this button will return you to the Select Business Intelligence and Panel tab and the Dashboard will not be changed.
: Clicking on this button will return you to the Select Business Intelligence and Panel tab and the Dashboard will be amended.

: Click on this button to delete the Dashboard. Please note: this button will be disabled where the Dashboard is the default Dashboard, .i.e. you cannot delete the default Dashboard.

Will take you directly to the Business Intelligence Home Page where Dashboards can be viewed and which is further detailed in the Viewing Dashboards section.
