Individual Asset Registration Requests can be rejected by searching for the required Requests on the AM Registration Requests Enquiry form, as detailed in the Asset Registration Requests Enquiry section.
Then select the tick box in the Reject? column in the Grid at the bottom of the form for the relevant Asset Registration Request:
Please note: where the tick box in the Reject? column cannot be selected the Asset Registration Request has already been accepted or rejected, i.e. the Request Status is at either Request Accepted or Request Rejected. You will only be able to select Requests that have a Request Status of Request Entered.
The tick box in this column can be selected for one or more Lines in the Grid.
Click on the button and the Reject Request form will open:
Select an option from the Reject Reason drop-down field - Reasons are defined as detailed in the Reasons section within Asset Admin. Where required, add additional details as to why the selected Asset Registration Requests have been rejected to the Request Comments field.
Click on the button on the Reject Request form to reject the selected Asset Registration Requests. A message will be displayed asking for confirmation that the selected Asset Registration Requests are to be rejected. Once confirmed this form will close and you will be returned to the AM Asset Registration Request Enquiry form and the tick box on the Reject? column on the Grid will no longer be available for the rejected Asset Registration Request Lines. These Lines will also be updated with the selected Reject Reason option as well as any details added to the Request Comments field.
Please note: where you have rejected more than one Asset Registration Request, the same Reject Reason and details in the Request Comments field will be added to all the Lines in the Grid that have just been rejected.
