Read Only Classifications

Clicking on the  button on the Main tab of the AM Asset Maintenance form where the Asset has a Status that is other than  or at  will allow you to view the Classification of the Asset.  You will not be able to make any amendments to the Classification.

The AM Classification Code Maintenance (Readonly) form will open:

The following field and options are displayed:

• Classification Code: This is the code for the Classification
• Description: This the description of the Asset that the Classification is for.
• Suspended: Where this option is be selected no postings for the Asset can be made to the General Ledger.
• Locked: Where this option is selected indicates that Users viewing the Classification Code when the Status of the Asset was at  or at  could not change the Analysis Codes added to any Grid displayed at the bottom of the form.
• Comments: Details may be added to this field that provides further information for the Classification.
