Revenue Detail Codes Fields Section

The Revenue Detail Codes Fields section on the AM Asset Types form, as detailed in the Creating Asset Types section, contains the following fields:

These are as follows:

• Acquisitions: Add a Detail Code to this field -  this will be needed when an Asset Code that is being created is being completed by adding an Acquisition transaction, which is further detailed in the Creating Assets section.  The original Capital Cost of the Asset on Acquisition will be posted to the Detail Code added to this field.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Acquisitions Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Acquisitions Detail Code section.

• Enhancements: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have enhancements - the enhancement will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed where there is an attempt to enhance the Asset and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Enhancement Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Enhancements Detail Code section.

• Depreciation Charge: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have a Depreciation Charges - these will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed where there is an attempt to create a Depreciation Charge for the Asset and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Depreciation Charge Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Depreciation Charge Detail Code section.

• Gain on Revaluation: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have a revaluation gain - these will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed where there is an attempt to create a revaluation gain transaction for the Asset and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Gain On Revaluation Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Gain on Revaluation Detail Code section.

• Loss on Revaluation: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have a revaluation loss - theses will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed where there is an attempt to create a revaluation loss transaction for the Asset and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Loss on Revaluation Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Loss on Revaluation Detail Code section.

• Gain on Disposal: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have a gain on disposal - these will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed when there is an attempt to dispose of the Asset where there would be a gain on the disposal and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Gain On Disposal Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Gain on Disposal Detail Code section.

• Loss on Disposal: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have a loss on disposal - these will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed when there is an attempt to dispose of the Asset where there would be a loss following disposal and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Loss On Disposal Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Loss on Disposal Detail Code section.

• Disposal Proceeds: Add a Detail Code to this field where Assets that have this Asset Type will or may have disposal proceeds, i.e. the net amount for the loss or gain on disposal - these will be posted to this Detail Code.  Please note: an error message will be displayed when there is an attempt dispose of the Asset and there are disposal proceeds following disposal and this field is blank.

The required Detail Code can also be searched for and selected by clicking on the Find Detail Code button located to the right of this field, .  This will open the AM Find Disposal Proceeds Detail Codes form where the required Detail Code can be searched for and once selected will be added to this field.  This form is further detailed in the Find Disposal Proceeds Detail Code section.
