Importing/Exporting Files (FTP)

The importing and exporting files functionality (File Transfer Protocol - FTP) in FinancialsLIVE can be accessed by Users that have the correct access rights, i.e have been allocated a FTP User role on their User within Financials.  Adding a FTP User role to a User is further detailed in the Creating FW User section of the User Maintenance How to Guide.

The FTP functionality can be accessed by selecting the Financials Web option on the Financials Web Main Menu:

• FW File Upload: Selecting this option will allow files to be uploaded into FinancialLIVE via an import facility and is further detailed in the File Upload section.
• FW File Download: Selecting this option will allow files to be downloaded from FinancialsLIVE via an export facility and is further detailed in the File Download section.
