Find Debtor

The CR Find Debtor form will open when the Find Debtor button, in the Main tab of the CR Creditors Maintenance form is selected.

The CR Find Debtor form will open:

This form will allow you to search for a Debtor using Address types and to link the required Debtor to the Creditor on the CR Creditor Maintenance form.

The fields on this form are:

• Debtor: Add part of the Debtor number, if known.
• Name: Add the name or part name of the Debtor, if known
• Post Code: This field will be populated from the post code on the Creditor's Main address but can be amended as required.  Creditor Addresses are further detailed on the Maintain Creditor Addresses section.
• Address Type: This drop-down field has two options: Main Addresses, which is the default option and if selected only the Main address of Debtors will be included in the search; All Addresses, which if selected all Debtors addresses will be included in the search.

Add search criteria to the fields on the form as required.

Clicking on the  button will remove any search criteria added, the fields will revert to their default values allowing you to add fresh search criteria.

Click on the  button and a Grid will be displayed at the bottom of the form with Debtors that meet the search criteria:

New search criteria can be added and clicking on the  button will refresh the lines in the Grid with Debtors that meet the new search criteria.

Clicking on the  button will revert the fields on the form to their default values and also now remove the Grid.

Select a Debtors by clicking on the link in the Debtor column on the Grid:

You will then be returned to the Main tab on the CR Creditor Maintenance form and the selected Debtor number will be added to the Debtors Account Number field.
