Find Product Class

The Find Product Class form can be accessed by selecting the Find Product Class button, located to the right of the Product Class field, , that is available on various forms and screens within the Purchasing module.

The Find Product Class form will open:

This form allows you to search for and select the required Product Class.

The drop-down options to the right of the fields provide you with further options for the search.  These are:

• Begins: The search should only include items that begin with the criteria added to the field.
• Contains: The search should only include items that contain the criteria added to the field.
• Ends: The search should only include items that ends with the criteria added to the field.
• Matches: The search should only contain items that match the criteria added to the field/

Add the relevant search criteria to the fields on the form as required.

Clicking on the  button will remove any search criteria added, the fields will revert to their original values allowing you to add fresh search criteria.

Click on the  button and a Grid will be displayed at the bottom of the form with Product Classes that meet the search criteria - if no search criteria is added all available Product Classes will be displayed:

Please note: the Product Classes displayed in the Grid may be restricted to a Requisition Class that is included in the form or screen from where the Find Product Class button was selected.  Where this is the case the Requisition Class will be displayed at the top left of the form:

New search criteria can be added and re-clicking on the  button will refresh the lines in the Grid with Product Classes that meet the new search criteria.

Clicking on the  button will clear the field on the form and also now remove the Grid.

Select a Product Class by clicking on the link on the Product Class column in the Grid:

The Find Product Class form will close and you will be returned to the form or screen where the Find Product Class button was selected and the selected Product Class will be added to Product Class field.
